History of the Show
The Religion on the Line radio show began on May 9th, 1993. It was originally in a noon to 2:00 pm time slot with the original hosts consisting of Rabbi Michael Zedek, Reverand Robert Lee Hill and Father Thom Savage, former President of Rockhurst College.
The show was moved from the Manor Square Building to the Westwood facility of the Bonneville Communications family. In January of 1999, Father Pat Rush, Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Kansas City/St. Joseph, Missouri, joined the show taking Father Savage's place.
The next location is our present location at the Susquehanna Communications site in Mission, Kansas. In January of 2001 Chancellor George M. Noonan, Chancellor of the Catholic Diocese of Kansas City/St. Joseph, Missouri, joined the show taking Father Rush's place.
Beginning in July 2000, Rabbi Michael Zedek became the CEO of the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati from which he currently calls in his participation each Sunday.
